The selection of your kitchen
countertops is an important decision and involves many factors. The
general rule of thumb is:

Advantages:
- Placing hot items or cutting on
granite will never damage the surface. (It will actually dull your
knives)
- Once sealed, granite is stain
resistant
- Sanitary (Non-Porous)
- The various minerals within granite add depth and character making every granite countertop
different.
- The colour of your granite countertop will never fade
- Adds value to your home
Disadvantages:
- Granite needs to be sealed once
every 2 years

colours available for cabinetry we recommend when choosing a
countertop, to decide upon your cabinet colour and style first.

Autumn Brown Granite is identified by the shades of auburn that
tint it. It provides an appeal that is softly romantic yet darkly
mysterious at the same time. For those who want to maintain an
element of surprise in their designs, it is the perfect choice.
Also called Newton Granite, Autumn Brown granite is formed as
portions of magma buried deep beneath the earth slowly cools and
then solidifies. The combination of heat and pressure which marks
its birth produces a material that is characterized by it's great
strength. Autumn Brown Granite panels can withstand heat, water,
and seismic activity. It also has an erosion factor of about 0.125"
per thousand years, which makes it last for a very long
time.
